I have liked a few of Keb' Mo' albums in the past, but hearing this was a live album called "HOT Pink Blues" i expected a little more. Very safe "middle of the road" background music. If I never heard of Keb' Mo' before and someone took me to these shows I proabably would have left early. This music is to blues what Kenny G is to jazz. I give it 2.5 stars, but rounded up to 3 for my rating due to past music he's made.

At first I was a bit skeptical but after listening to this CD this has to be the best CD of the year. Song for song keb Mo along with A full arrangement of musicians put on a awesome performance that make you feel as if you were right there in the audience. This is one of the best works that Keb has put together. I could sit and listen to all of the arraignments and the sounds that are produced. It shows what a true artist Keb Mo is. He is definitely my favorite blues artist.
