So it's obvious that some people don't appreciate Sunn O))) for what it is, even if it does sound like a dishwasher, or doesn't sound like any mainstream metal you've heard. I personally love the sound of loud, low notes, and all the other sound effects in there. The term „metal” in this case could very well be misleading, which is probably why their ratings are always 5 stars or 1. For me, it's always going to be 5 stars!

33 minutes of tunning guitars and sound check? IF you want dark ambient minimilistic, look up lustmord or something, this just strange
  • UG! Terrible!

I guess this is what the new generation call "Metal". I'm old school growing up on Classic Rock and transitioning to Slayer, Venom, Exodus, Anthrax, etc. Kannon's sound reminds me of the bands I mentioned warming up before a show. There's no beat or rhythm to what they do. The members grab their instruments and each one plays from a different book. I wonder if they even know how to play their instruments. Lol.

I just thought I would write a review for an album that hasn't even been released yet. Just based on appearances this album looks really good. I imagine the sound coming from it will be exquisite when it finally arrives in the mail..

The darkest winter comes to blanket your soul in cold ash. Here comes the most tar-colored christmas album man has ever known.

Glad to hear the heaviest, slowest, darkest band in the world is releasing some new material! Attila on vocals, Rex on Moog, and Greg and Stephen on their gloom axes, this is classic Sunn O))). It's going to be a dark, grim winter…………………...
