This album backs lots of memories. Two of the best at their craft(Vai and Sheenan)!
DLR was trying to one-up Eddie and the boys. Excellent effort.
So much fun!

I love this album! Finding a vinyl copy in a local record store prompted me to 'dig it out'. Lots of layering and studio editing going on here but all the pieces come together for an album that kills. Fun stuff!
Great Album!

Just Like Paradise gets all the pub but Damn Good is minor cult classic and one of Dave's better yet least listened too songs. Best tune, which stands the test of time, by a mile.
Thanks to CHUCK

I've always been a huge Van Halen fan, but equally enjoy both Roth and Hagar on their own. Both have their own defined styles and while Dave's success has sometimes been lackluster, it was never without effort. This is one of my favorite albums and the production work on this album has that same polished feel of some of the post-Roth VH albums. 5 stars undoubtedly.
Great Underrated album

This album is amazing! "Just Like Paradise" is one of my most favorite songs of all time. David Lee Roth is a completly underrated artist and diservies a lot of respect for the creation of what most of the 1980's music scene was. This album is deinatly one of the best albums in the late 80's. I recomend Just Like Paradise, Skyscraper, and Damn Good.
Ahh the 80's!

Ain't it amazing what they can do with the vocal and guitar layering? Be nice to be able to hear the bass though...Billy Sheehan's chops are lost and even Vai's solo's sound like my grandma on heroine...
