Ignore The One-Star Reviews

If you look, you'll notice that this album has several one-star reviews. Ignore those. They are baseless and have nothing to do with this album; they are just lazy people whining about a former lack of an English-version download, and were incapable of leaving their power scooters to buy a physical copy. This is "Eat Em' and Smile" in Spanish. Or, more accurately, Spanish lyrics tossed over the pre-existing instrumental recordings. This is not a true Spanish translation, as Dave interpreted everything literally, leading to some very broken and confusing Spanish. The lyrics often don't match up to the instruments, and you get awkward instrumental silence or lack of vocals at the ends of songs. It was a unique effort, only done by a few bands of the era before the internet. However, the lack of an official translator and re-recordings of the instruements makes for a very dissapointing album for foreign fans.

I bought the cassette back in the 80's and loved it. I don't speak Spanish, but I like music in different languages. Tony Basil did Mickey in spanish. And other artist remade there music in different languages to get a wider fan base.

I would buy this if it were only in English. This is a great album but would like to upgrade my 25 year old cassette! Where is the English version?
