  • Joey Molland fiasco

It came out that Joey had re-recorded nearly all his guitar parts and the bass. The drums are triggered samples. Pete Ham's songs are re-ordered to the end and his guitar solos are buried compared to Joey's. Joey also kept all the artist royalties after telling the record company he would pay them out through his company. There is the court decisions available online where it states the others were paid back though the band's accountant, yet Joey sued for "producer" royalties. Too bad on this release; should have been just a nice solid mix of the show. That would have been more satisfying and not a stain on their legacy.
  • It's a great compilation of songs and Badfinger is a legend. They're not making any more...

The drums could definately have been toned down. BUT I'll tweak that and always cherish these tunes. Songs like "I Don't Mind", "Timeless", "Baby Blue", "Day After Day" are incredible pieces of work and are remarkable even by todays' standards. Beautiful guitar and vocals by Ham and Evans. Their sound is truly unique. I understand why George Harrison chose to produce these guys. Rock on I-Tunes. Get us some more Badfinger!

Just don't... Wanna get this same experience for free? Here's how: Put a random Badfinger album on in your car. Turn the volume ALL the way up. Stand half way across the street. Have your neighbor beat on HIS car door with a rake, trying to match up with Mike's drumming. Understand now? DO NOT buy this album. The sole purpose of it's existence is to help Joey Molland sleep at night in good self esteem. Warning: Buying this album makes Joey laugh uncontrollably for 5 minutes, before he can contain himself. This is NOT a true live album. Joey loses all public dignity for respecting his superior former band members. Why did he have to overdub this? Sounds like Tom and Pete taking a wet dump in your ear.
  • BETTER THAN NOTHING

The BBC Badfinger live set is much superior, but, aside from the annoying electronic drum overdubs, this is better than nothing. I especially love the countrified version of what was previously a more Beatles/psychedelic album arrangement of "I Don't Mind." And, yeah, where is the rest of the catalogue...including Joey Molland's stuff? Joey was great...nearly as great as Ham...he was the rock and roll soul of the band...gave Badfinger a tougher sound. Where is Badfinger and Joey, I-tunes????

Day after day just isn't the same without Harrison on guitar. Does anyone know where to go to download the studio version?

Sounds like a bad Paul McCartney imitation for Day After Day. How did this ever get released?
  • Another Joey Molland mess!

This was a decent concert until Joey Molland got a hold of it and ruined it with overdubbed electronic drums and extra guitar and vocal parts. It sounds pretty bad. This is what happens when the true artists, Ham & Evans, aren't around to oversee what has happened to their music. What a shame!
  • Not The best, but it s badfinger

First off this Cd is not the best, but Badfinger is the most underated band ever. this might not be straight up but this gives you a taste of what it is.

I want to hear the original songs. This live version does not come close to the sound I am used to!
