Whoa, whoa whoa! Don't write this outstanding album off as for "fans only." "Song for a Lost Friend," "I Miss You, "Why Don't We Talk?" "Where do we Go From Here..." Heck, every song on this album (with the exception of the horrid attempt at horn-driven soul, "Matted Spam") is a wonderful, touching gem. This is Badfinger's most emotionally vulnerable collection of songs, an almost Kinks-like exploration of the outer fringes -- done in the full, rich idiom of pop. Badfinger's most lovable, most moving album. Really.
