This is by far, not the best album for V.H. Michael Anthony is certainly missed.
  • Helluva swan song

Lifelong fan of the band. A number of these tunes can be found on the Warner Bros demo’s bootleg from ‘77. Here they get an update and Dave bringing new wit and old world wisdom to the table. I challenge anyone to be Dave’s age and sing these songs. Good luck. Michael’s missing but Wolf brought a new energy and the band sounds unfettered and happy. Too bad it was their last album but it’s one helluva swan song. Just enjoy it!

This album isn’t as great as CVH’s 6-pack, but definitely better than VHIII.
  • Glad to see this back up on iTunes

These guys were in there 60’s but the band is tight and the music is classic VH. Eddie was back and up to par and his son Wolf is tiering it up on bass. I know everyone missed Mike Anthony but not real musician can knock Wolfs chops. The band is tight and the tone is outstanding. Roth has lost most of his vocal ability with age but his lyric’s and charisma still shine.
  • Old songs from Looney Toons bootleg

These are all songs from the old Looney Toons CD from the 70s. They just rewrote the lyrics and IMO ruined alot of the songs. The music of course is amazing thanks to EVH.

So great to see this album up here again after being gone!!!!! Good to see whomever figured out the contracts:) Van Halens’s music must continue to be accessible on all platforms (at a marginal fee) so that many generations in the future will be able to find it.

They brought diamond Dave back to try and rekindle the magic.Sorry but this isn’t it.Not sure why I bought this album?I mean this was the beginning of the end of Dave’s voice. Not to mention you can tell the difference without Michael Anthony’s background vocals. If your a Van Halen fan this is not the one to pick up.Stick with the older stuff.
