Sleepyhead

Words can't really describe Passion Pit's music... It can only be described in the most intense words... Sleepyhead is an amazing song, and I think it's even better with this video. Sleepyhead obviously makes you think mellow and low. So a music video like this completes that theme. A faster magical song with a lower magical video compliments it perfectly. It's strange how the video is basic, but yet it's something I would have never come up with... I love the surrealism. People expect to much. They want mainstream drugs and sex songs... I want secret meaningful and euphoric songs... Passion Pit = Life

Passion Pit's never let me down. When I listen to a song a I look for two things: A great sound and beat, and a message or meaning. And Sleepyhead packs both. Most people are so used to being handed lyrics right to them, and told exactly what's going on. These people are to fat and lazy to look a little deeper into the music to find out what it means. And isn't music supposed to make you feel something anymore? All I get from this 'mainstream' crap is 'let's go to the club, get drunk, and make love'. Passion Pit makes music that you'll remember for years and years to come, rather than a 'over-celebrated song' that's good one day, and forgotten the next. This new music is replaced and forgotten again and again. But it's hard to replace Passion Pit. *Enough said
