Gossamer

Always in the rotation! Love it.

I can listen to this album when I’m absolutely elated and I can listen to it when I am at the lowest of lows. Few bands are able to capture both joy and devastation, and Passion Pit executes the marriage of the two perfectly on Gossamer. At first listen, Passion Pit's trademark poppy, overjoyed sound would make you believe the songs are nothing but sugary sweetness. A closer examination of the lyrics however, exposes incredibly dark themes such as substance abuse, manic states, and suicide. My favorites are “I’ll Be Alright,” “Hideaway,” “It’s Not My Fault, I’m Happy,” and “Where We Belong.”

I rarely buy full albums but with Passion Pit I always make an exception. I fell in love with Passion Pit the first time I heard Manners and my love keeps growing. They are just magical.

This album has a perfect balance of fun and moving music. I listen to it EVERYDAY! So life-changing. :)

I LOVE Take A Walk!!! This is definitely a song I would recommend. "Passion Pit" are amazing artists that I would listen to all the time! 😀
