Ever since after Feeding the Wolves this band seems to have been getting softer. Feeding the Wolves was absolutely amazing. Minus the Machine didn’t have much gusto, if any at all. This isn’t any improvement. I just hope this isn’t a sign of them selling out, as they’re one of my favorite alternative metal bands. It’s a whole lot weaker than their past work. I didn’t expect it to be the level of Feeding the Wolves, but it sure didn’t meet what I expected. If this is all they got, they should take a break. I understand songwriting can be tough, but please put out unique, quality material instead of doing what every other band is doing. It’s just like how Metallica lost their old school 80’s thrash sound to fit into the modern sounds and their 80’s sound is part of what made them stand out. The Word Alive lost their extremely heavy sound and creativity and also how Adelitas Way doesn’t sound like they did on their first two albums, which is what they should both sound like and makes it sound boring if they don’t play with that. Change happens with every band eventually I know whether it be good or bad for them, but this is definitely for the worse, if this is their choice. I’ll always be a fan of these guys so I’ll be checking in on their next release, but if it gets any worse than this I don’t know if they’ll be able to put out quality music anymore, which would be a huge downer for me and many other huge 10 Years fans. I don’t want to only hear their stuff before Minus the Machine, just like any other fan of these guys I want to hear new stuff that can be jammed to. 10 Years was one of the first metal bands that I jammed to and this doesn’t cut it like what I know and love them for. Once again, I don’t expect songs as good as Shoot It Out, but play what fans know and love you for. Unique = good, Generic = bad. I don’t understand why so many bands start playing generic crap.
not to their own standard

OK... i know we all wanted to love this, and 10 Years is one of my favorite bands. However, there is no one song on the album which truly grabs you and takes you on a ride like on previous albums. Selling Skeltons is not bad. These guys are truly terrifc musiians and previous song writing has been fanstastic. I will hold out hope for a rebound with their next album, but this is a poorly assembled package as if the band is torn about the direction in whcih they want to go.
Awesome!

Love the lyrics and approach in this album. I just wish the autotune wasn't so obvious in the songs and it was backed off a tad haha
Still got it

10 Years owned with Beautiful and Wasteland. I have had many a good workout on that kind of fuel. If you are running low on workout music check out Parabelle and old "Evans Blue"
Great Work!

This album is a great one. In a way I feel for these guys because their first was their finest. But their sound is so singular and unique, I don’t see how you can hold that against them. I will say I think of their collection, this is number two or three. Great work guys!
Hated it at first BUT...

Took me 4 or so times to listen to the whole thing to really love it. Great album but you need to give it a chance. First time through I didn't like it and was disappointed - now I love it.
..........sigh

The 10 years sound with the unique changes here and there. It's enough to keep me interested.
