Backlash - Single

The single is great, but it's just a hint at what's left lying in wait on the album itself. Backlash is such a good song to jam out to in the car. I highly recommend buying it-- but I recommend the album Minus the Machine more!!!

From the second 10 Years released this single with their announcement they had dropped their record label, I knew the new album would be unbeatable. It's got the heavy, fast beat, make you wanna get up vibe from feeding the wolves, catering to all the metal heads out there. With, my favorite part, the melodies and calming vibes from Autumn Effect. Ever since Autumn Effect I've been waiting for an album where they bring back those melodies and instrumental sounds that seem to put you in a trance and turn their songs from just great music into something that truly speaks to you. Not only through Jesse's lyrics but also through Tater's, Brian's, and Lewis' amazing music talents. This. Is it.

Another awesome single from 10 Years, they never disappoint! Its like an audio tapestry with haunting vocals, crunchy guitar hooks, compelling drums, and moving bass lines woven together into one sensory masterpiece!

Backslash the first single from Minus the Machine, it's really something, by now I'm sure everybody has the album and jamming to it as I'm typing this review. what can I say, it's a heavy tune! I just can't get enough of it. it gets me in a really great mood, awesome song to work out.

This song is so powerful. The lyrics are incredible as always. Jesse's voice is absolutely amazing. I first fell in love with 10 Years because of the power behind their lyrics starting with their very first album. Since then they have never done anything but impress. Every single album is better than the last. This song puts shivers down my spine every single time I listen to it. The grunge elements behind this song mix in perfectly. The emotions that Hasek puts behind every word is what gives this song the power and appeal that it does.

I can't believe these guys are not bigger than they are. I've seen them live 4 times and it's the most intense, amazing show you will ever see. This single doesn't dissapoint and I can't wait for the rest of the album on August 7th!!!

The autumn effect and division were great albums, I'm hoping "backlash" is the only bad song on the new album but I'm not getting my hopes up

This is pure 10 years! Really from the first listen you're hooked. Lyrically, it is completely relatable to what is going on in the world right now. Of course everyone's got their own interpretation of the song but I love this band for always writing music that has a message. This song is no different. It really makes you think and you can tell that 10 years is taking music into their own hands. The chorus of this song just makes you want to scream along to it. If you like music that means something then check this song out. As a matter of fact, check out their whole discography!! Minus the machine indeed!!!!

This song is, one again, an amazing new single. I am so excited they have dropped their old record label and now have free reigns to create AMAZING music.
