This record is meditative, eclectic, even spiritual. Of course i skip songs sometimes, but i don’t really feel like any of it is of lower quality. What a fantastic OST!

This album is great, but it almost sounds like it does not belong with the Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2 games. I don't have the correct music terms, but it just sounds like a departure from the others. This isn't bad, though. I love the album and really enjoyed Almighty Buhnivelze even though he's a total jerk in the game. There's a few tracks that are based off the last two albums, but like I said, they sound very different and you may not recognize them at first. Regardless, it's a wonderful soundtrack and I am glad that I bought it.

From the very first track to the very end, this album brings all the excitement, anticipation, joy, fear, and wonder Lightning Returns created. I absolutely love the soundtrack! You will too!
  • A Masterpiece...

No matter how you feel about the actual game franchise (the XIII series has had both positive and negative reviews), this soundtrack is a true masterpiece. I thoroughly enjoyed the FF 13-2 soundtrack and couldn't wait to pick this one up as well. It does not disappoint. If you are a fan of video game soundtracks and appreciate the art of story telling through musical composure you will love this album. The FF 13 music franchise takes you on a powerful and emotional journey that leaves you feeling fulfilled and awestruck by the quality of each song. You also get 74 tracks for this price, which is a great value. You will not be disappointed by this purchase!
  • Very disappointing

Sounds like Phillip Glass scoring a Transformers movie. And I don't mean that as a compliment. Almighty Bhunivelze is no One-Winged Angel, though it's definitely aspiring to be. All in all, a big let down.
  • BEYOND AWESOME!!!

Compared to the last 2 games, this soundtrack is riveting. Beautiful masterpiece is all I have to say. Fan of FF or not you'll fall in love with these songs over and over. The remixes of the original songs from the pass 2 games are intense. The composers did and amazing job
  • The Best FF Soundtrack Alongside FFX OST

FFX Soundtrack is the best of all time. This one is almost as good. Don’t miss it. This one has many songs where there’s singing not just music, and whether you’re an FF fan or not, the sound will appeal to you as great background music.
