Yes that’s right, I’m one of the many of the less musically literate masses who discovered this wonderfully talented jazz artists (more like “one man jazz band”, amirite!) thanks to Todd in the Shadows wonderful web original video series spotlighting the overlooked, the under appreciated, and the undeserved hit makers of the music industry! And thanks to this online music spotlight series, I’ve discovered an immense musical talent of such unique standing, that he seems almost singularly unique in the musical landscape. Even this, his most contemporary album seemingly made to cash in on his mainstream success of One Hit Wonder “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” shows his impressive range as a one-man acapella “group” with impressive performances on ear candy covers of contemporary pop classics like “Drive My Car”, “Susie Q”, and “Drive”. Even if you’re listening via Apple Music, I highly recommend buying whichever cover song you think sounds the catchiest, just so you could give this musical virtuoso his much deserved royalties, if not the whole dang album.

My mom played this when I wasn't even born yet and I grew up listening to it. I never get sick of it. Huge mood lifter. And reallllly good for intonation and rhythm training. P.S.- I'm 29 and a professional musician. 😁 Worth every hay penny!
