Understanding What We've Grown to Be

They're best most technical album to date.

These guys are literally the most inspirational metal rock band I've ever listened to. Great lyrics, relatable songs, and just straight uplifting inspiration and hard music with awesome sound changes and surprises in just about every song. Not to mention you can understand a majority of their lyrics. They don't even curse. Way talented and underrated. Don't stop making music WCAR!!!!!!!

Great music and I can't wait for their next album

Before I start criticizing let me start by saying I love this band. They have really amazing songs and sick riffs that will surprise you.... for the first cd "to plant a seed" but the second album sounds too much like the first. Don't get me wrong I love the second album but heard it before. Looking forward to see how they change it up on the next one.

If you like metal do not buy this cd, it sounds like a bunch of little kids got together and made a light rock light voiced band I was so disappointed

I had heard of WCAR, but never really gave them much attention, until my buddy put this album on. They really are overly talented and under rated! Buy this album!

I don't even generally enjoy metal or hardcore, but We Came As Romans is just so incredibly good, I can't stop listening to them! These guys have been amazing since day one, but this new album just breaks entirely new ground. Yes, it does have some similarity to TPAS, but there seems to be more intentionality with each melody and breakdown, like they really took the time to craft each and every measure of each song. It's clear they would not settle for mediocrity at any point of their songs. Also, I don't know why "Cast The First Stone" and "The Way That We Have Been" are not very popular...I think they're two of the best songs on the album! Don't let the popularity ratings fool you, EVERY song on this album is gold.
