Peter Hollens has amazing talent with an incredible voice. The voice of an angel. I am glad Peter has decided to create his own original magical work of art. I hope this is his launch into a career of originals. As Katy Perry's lyrics say "Cause baby you're a firework. Come on show 'em what your worth." This original does just that, along with all your other amazing songs and videos. Keep reaching for the stars as there are no limits to what you'll accomplish and contribute to society.

I'm always leery when cover artists take that first step into the uncharted waters of original music. With his song "Sleepwalking", Peter Hollens proves he can infuse a song we haven't heard and make it his own with his particular style and talent.
The song itself is about a love gone bad and the feeling of sleepwalking through life (hence the title). A sentiment that's been heard in pop music before... what makes this different is the personal interpretation of the song. This original fits nicely in the growing repertoire of Hollens music. Again, the emotive and technically proficient vocals draw in the listener and the vocal arrangements are lush and rich... it's easy to forget you're listening to a song without instruments or machines. Five stars from me.
