but i dont think he deserved the entire 5 stars 4 1/2 maybe.... and my reasoning for this is he sounds all over the place

I got very sick of hearing the original on the radio, but Peter made this song his own. I get chills everytime I hear it.

Once again, Peter knocks it out of the park with his a cappella reworking of a current pop song. The a capella treatment doesn't feel like a genre here so much as a filling out the vocal parts that Katy Perry's version could have used. This version has a wider dynamic range and much more depth (if you can say that about a pop performace!). Like the title says... better than the original.
