what a powerful message to bring through a song. you did a great job sharing the power and beauty of the Gospel for people who hear the song and video. Matt hits the nail on the head with this new tune both musically and lyrically. Packing in the depth, fullness and richness of this one phrase "it is finished" is tough to do in a 3-minute piece of art, but Matt does an incredible job of exactly that. It is refreshing to find an artist committed to musical creativity and excellence on the one hand and solid biblical theology on the other. Best lyric of the song? “The keys of the kingdom were placed into hands of children and priests and fishers of men.” Love it. Tell your friends. This is a great option for your Easter weekend experience.

I first heard this song when Matt led worship at the Radicalis conference at Saddleback Church in February 2011. I knew I wanted to lead it in my Church as soon as I heard it. I'm so glad it's finally released. This song brings me to tears, for the sacrifice of my Lord Jesus and for the joy that is ours because of His resurrection! Thanks, Matt for serving the King so well and giving us music to give back to Him!

Heard this song the first time a few weeks back at an area D-NOW event and was totally touched by it. Was super sad to find out i couldnt get it yet, not even on the computer, but was a little relieved that i did find out that it was comin out on april 1st. Though i checked many times throughout the day, it went on about 4 o clock. downloaded it as aoon as i could. i Love it. It reminds me that Jesus already did it all. All our sins and everything bad in this world was covered when He said, "It is finished". everything he did and everything he went through was because He loves us. "Hallelujah. Were alive. Hell was silenced when He cried, "it is finished"!!!!"
