I've been a disc jockey for over 15 years and I have not seen anyone make as great of a transaction to country since Hootie! Give Tiffany a chance radio cause his is her genre!

Tiffany has never sounded more confident, and well-placed vocally. Her signature delivery has finally found a perfect home, in the Country genre. As a listener, it's a shocking leap to make at first, but if you can cut yourself free from any prior notions you might have about the no-longer-teen vocalist, you have to admire the inspiring vision of an artist who has found an unexpected and perfect new home for her gift.
If you happened to have been present for some of Tiffany's other more recent efforts, like 2005's dance comeback record, you can appreciate how much more cohesive, and solidly produced this record is (no offense to those who enjoyed those dancier times).
Buy this.

Tiffany is still amazing. I really do not listen to much country, but I really like these songs! Are any currently on the radio?

Ok i am kinda partial cuz I love Tiffany, but I am a big fan of country, Reba, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler, Miranda Lambert, And This long awaited country album proves country was Tiffany's First love. The only bad part about this album was that it only had 8 tracks :o( but the accoustics were amazing, and Tiffany has never sounded better. My favorite track is Crazy Girls with Lindsay Lawler who is amazing herself :o)
The best work of her career!!! Tiffany is back in a BIG way!

This album brings Tiffany back to the genre she originally began in before the pop superstardom she attained in the 80s. All 8 tracks are superb. Tiffany's voice is stronger than ever. She also displays her astounding writing on "Rose Tattoo", writing/co-writing 7 of the 8 songs. "Feel The Music" is foot stomping, bluesy, rocking, song. It's full of energy and is tailor made for country radio. "Crazy Girls" is a duet with a very talented Nashville favorite, Lindsay Lawler. It's a uptempo, balls to wall, no holds barred take on women having a good time and not apologizing for it! "He's All Man" is a Bonnie Raitt-esque rocker, full of energy and powerful vocals. "He Won't Miss Me" is a powerful, meaningful ballad. It concerns a woman realizing the love she's been holding on to isn't real. It reminds me of a song Trisha Yearwood, Carrie Underwood might record but its 100% Tiffany. "All Over You" is a sweet declaration of love written by Tiffany and a very talented singer/songwriter, Lorna Flowers. "Just Love Me" is the second ballad on the CD. The vocals on that track are amazing!!!! "Love You Good" has a swampy, gritty feel. It reminds me of a song played in the TV series "True Blood". "Just That Girl" is the final song on the album. It about a woman who accepts herself flaws and all.
I'm hoping the Country Music world and the music world in general will take notice of what an amazing vocalist and entertainer Tiffany is and what a revolution the album "Rose Tattoo" is. Tiffany is in the game and I'm hoping for a win!
All I can say is WOW!!

This is a GREAT set of songs. Tiffany continues to amaze me as she grows as an artist. It seems every album gets better and better. Highly recommend this.
What Can't She Do?... Besides Get A Break?!

I haven't liked country music since I was 5yrs-old so hearing that one of my favorite voices was heading in that direction, it was hard to get excited about it. That said, ya can't deny that her voice was tailor-made for the earthy, bluesy heartbreak she's belting out on Rose Tattoo. Tiffany has proven her versatility time and again by successfully recording pop, dance, rock, RnB, industrial and while she's had a flirtation with country already, this album is her first official foray into full-on country... and her pet project fits like a glove. She doesn't bring out the twang (fortunately) but this is solid, soulful, down home stuff and dammit, I actually wanted more!... Fingers crossed album #9 is the OTHER genre best-suited to her powerful, emotive pipes: ROCK!
