A very ambient soundscape of a mix. Quite pleasant and very "chill". The vocal tracks selected are strong additions. If this were a soundtrack, it would be one smooth night out on the town.

A GORGEOUS LISTEN! The album as a whole is a rhythmic novel that tells a story of love connection, desire, curiousity, hope...providing an epic battle and grand finale...with the DJ/Producer playing the role of the Hero. On its own, each track will stir your inner energy. There is nothing textbook or typical about this album. It is an album that will introduce the curious into the beautiful world of electronica, and welcome seasoned veterans home.

First let me say I'd gladly pay $8.99 for Sun in the Winter by ITSELF. Then throw in Dusky 2010, Nothing Else Matters, I know You're Gone, and Carbine and you've got yourself a very qualify record. But wait there's more! Max Graham artist album? Yes, and it's a perfect blend of dance floor ready mixes interlaced with subtle worldy, chillout downtempo tunes. I've been a MG fan for many years and I've never known this side of him. I have to say that I am very impressed with his versitility, attention to detail, and range in his productions. Without a doubt, a master at his craft. For dance music lovers, if you don't know Sun in the Winter, Dusky 2010, these are 2 of this years biggest club tunes. I've been playing these both routinely on my Podcast and Radio Show. For the chillout lover, The Darkest of Nights is top tune for me. It's 9 minutes of "close your eyes" quality music that easily ranks amongst my favorite ambient tunes from Moby, Aphex Twin, & Boards of Canada. 5 Stars for me, based on overall quality of each production, and the variety by which this entire LP is made very interesting. Highly recommended!!!

Aaaaah, Max. Thank you sir. It's a standout masterpiece. Sometimes lofty and heartfelt; other times absolutely WICKED and sensual... your body moves as if on autopilot. Will take you from the dancefloor to a makeout sesh and back lol. Gorgeous. INTERESTING!!!! Not an "average" track in the bunch... they're all stunners. Even the downtempo selections are far from "fillers" (like on so many electronic albums out there) and they are perfectly placed within the playlist flow... so when I took the album out on my run today it didn't seem to "slow my roll" at all. Won't be leaving my iPod and CD player for eons.
