  • Max Is Back!!

Back in 2000 when Max was 29, Kinetic Records invited him to mix "Transport 4" which became a monster hit double CD album in the Spring-Summer of 2001. I fondly remember The Boom's "Boys Versus Girls" as my fave on that mix. For the last 7 years I lost track of Max's works. But I just now found a link to Cycles and I couldn't be happier. This is an outstanding set of tracks that cover a wide range of textures while maintaining a persistent beat you'll be glad you caught. Now the older Max of 37 is really cranking up the secret hits we all love to find through our favorite DJs. Thank you Max for your great taste. This is a total of 5 CDs worth of sound - 5 hours 15 minutes including both mixed CDs. Just under 3 hours of individual tracks. And it's iTunes Plus too. Great sounds that sound great.

A well mixed album that definitely keeps you moving to the beat. This is my first Graham mix that I purchased and I really like it, as usual Armada has the best names around on their payroll ! Enjoy it !
  • Tranceport yourself into Cycles of Bliss & Enlightenment!

Now I have followed Max Graham since his beginnings and have long awaited for a come back since his wonderful Tranceport Album release. HIs music/compilations have inspired me and the amount of tracks on this mix should do the same for you. The first CD is great and will leave you feeling relaxed and wanting more! The second CD will leave you breatheless as I use it for my work out routine when cycling. Buy the entire album, you won't regret! The price is heard to beat when compared to getting the actual album at stores for $15 or more. I can't help it but feel like dancing when listening to this mix! So take it to the Max and support this talented DJ any way possible! NOTE: He is even more impressive @theClub LIVE!
  • Not In Order

The write up on the album talks about Max eschewing the traditional star DJ role of playing out only the closing hours and his love of delivering the long, slow build, gradually turning up the heat on the dance floor. So, although this album offers tremendous value (25 tracks on Beatport would set you back over $60) it's disappointing that after downloading Max's carefully chosen song order is not maintained. Obviously you can create a playlist & do this manually but in light of the stated purpose, it would seem an unessercery step.
