I heard this album while on vacation in Peru. There is something familiar and refreshing about this music. This is a must buy for those who love world music.

An excelent remixed of their third studio album "Coba Coba" (5 stars too!!), this is an album where you can listen reinterpreted traditional AfroPeruvian songs with more instrumental experimentation and electronic as another instrument to construct this modern masterpiece of not only Peruavian but also World Music. I watch them live twice and can't wait to see them again next week, their show it's incredible with more musicians and more improvisation than their studio music. I really recomend this album specially if you listen groups like Gotam Project and Bajo Fondo Tango Club.
How to destroy a wonderful music

Afro Peruvian music is intoxicating, hot and unusual.
This beige remix attempt defaces it without adding anything interesting.
Yuppie electronica, elevator muzak, generic and bland.
Is the author of this mamarracho Peruvian? Sheez...
Don't buy it.
AMAZING!!!!

Amazing, energetic world music for fans of latin percussion funk. This is a beautiful mix.
The Coba Coba (not Remix) album is just as good -- and different enough from this one that it would be a disservice to your ears to not buy both.
