There is Peace and wondering the world once again. The best sound I've heard in a long time. Thank you very much!

Really good album. Full of energy and artistically graceful. I would highly recommend this😊
  • 4 Stars for lacking Lauridsen.

At the very end of the film, Zimmer got the express permission of Dr. Morten Lauridsen to use part of his piece, Lux Aeterna, as the new pope walked out onto the terrace to greet his constituents (this was the first time Lauridsen had ever allowed it to be used in a film, no less). It would have been great for that to have been included in the final soundtrack product instead of just in the movie. Otherwise, this is a great score. Consider purchasing the entirety of Lauridsen's Lux Aeterna as an addition to this score, as the piece certainly influenced Zimmer's writing style for the film.

After watching Angels and Demons, I had to get the soundtrack, which introduced me to Zimmer. I have been a huge fan since and would encourage anyone else to listen to his works.

160BPM and 503 are spectacular. The rest of the album falls into a melancholy state. I found myself depressed listening to them. This is caused by the repeat of the theme and other melodies over and over again. You can tell this was done near the same time as the Dark Knight sound track, as it has the same musical feel to it. Also I found many similar melodies, or beats taken from the Dark Knight. The album feels secretive, which it should for the movie, and builds a questionably story to be answered by the final track. Sadly to say it is like background music, if you are not focused on it, it just fades out of sight. (You forget it is even on) The first and last tracks are worth listening to, and are unique. These two make the track worth listening to.
  • Amazing

I have every last one of Hans Zimmer's soundtracks, and this one is by far one of the best. Listening to the whole thing is like a story of it's own, and it inspires me as a concert musician. Hans Zimmer has done an outstanding job on this.
  • EPIC WIN.

There is defintiely an epic-ness to this soundtrack. All the songs are unique and have different levels of awesome, ranging from awesome, to super amazing, and finally "Oh my holy taco, that was the most beautiful thing I've ever heard!". Hans Zimmer has mad skills. Mix that with the beastly violin-playing of Joshua Bell (my idol) and you have a wonderful soundtrack to make your everyday life sound more epic! This album is guard show worthy!! Plus, I really need to find the sheet music for all the beautiful violin parts :) DO BUY THIS ALBUM.
