After having a relative recommend this album/artist to me about 5 years ago, I purchased it and haven’t looked back. It quickly became one of my favorites, and Mat’s entire library found a permanent home in my regular rotation. Powerful lyrics are the engine that drives these tracks, from first song to last. Enjoy

I really hope Mat reads this. This man is beautiful. I heard him on pandora for the first time, "the city of black and white" and I fell in love with him. I kept hearing him over and over again on my "Ed sheeran" station on pandora and always thumbed up his songs so I would hear them. I finally just went to see if he was touring, and I missed the whole thing. Please come to the east coast again! Specifically DC or Maryland or Virginia area! I'll even have friends come to the concert! I just love your music, and I'd love to get a shirt signed by you <3

Mat Kearney is, in a word, amazing. I don't know how he does it! Each of his albums is totally original and his voice is so enchanting... he sounds like a Christian version of Chris Martin from Coldplay! I totally recommend this or any of his albums to people of all music tastes. No matter what you listen to, you will love this guy!

This album is still something that's a masterpiece. Even with Mat's new album out, this one tips it. My favorite song is Never Be Ready.

This is a huge disappointment. He lost all his orginallity which made him stand out. Now he sounds like every other person out there. Same boring melody and lyrics repeated over and over. I ll always love his old music and I hope he goes back to it on his next album but I wont be buying this one.
