This was one of the most anticipated records of 2004. I'm not sure I was more excited about any record more than Corrupt Cops. Evol was blowing the roof off all over the world with this one. Definitely a must have if you like heavy glitched dnb with lots o hip hop samples. Do it!

Evol Intent actually released this in 2004 for those watching. This track was one of their first big hits. Heavy break chops over insane basslines. Brutal. The vocal chop in Corrupt Cops is just killer. If you like good and heavy d&b, this EP is worth the buy. If you like this, then most definitely pick up Street Knowledge.
Generic and uninteresting, especially for Evol Intent.

There's just nothing all that interesting about these tracks, and it makes me unsettled to see a formula being so firmly established with dnb. "7 Angels With 7 Plagues", the highlight of the two, is just unimaginative. It simply follows the formula dnb artists have become comfortable with: lots of vocal samples followed by a pseudo-heavy barrage, then repeat that procedure a couple times. When are we going to get sick of this recipe dnb artists are becoming so reliant on? Even following the recipe, this lacks any kind of hook or excitement. The whole thing just feels terribly impersonal and generic, like it was just forced out because a new release was due. This is very disconcerting. Evol Intent has shown themselves to be more imaginative and creative than this. Awful.

Why did it take so long for this old stuff to come out on iTunes??? I have no idea, but I am so glad it did. This is Evol Intent at their best, make no mistake! Major plus for eveyone who love evol!
