There's A LOT going on here, a lot of really well explored creativity that's a joy to listen to. Deffinitely pick it up.

I bought A few songs fromn this album before they added anything of that aggresive crap in it, damn messed up the vibe now.

Admittedly, my musical tastes lean towards the darker, harder musical aesthetic in all genres. I was coming of age at the dawn of thrash metal, so I'm basically a metalhead at heart. I've been enjoying d'n'b for about a decade now. For me, metal (the seriously heavy stuff) and d'n'b have alot in common, primarily, the fact that the music is being made by artists who truly are in love with their medium. Let's face it, there is not a lot of money out there for these types of artists. The major labels and the general public don't get it. This allows creativity to flourish, so that true fans end up with incredible music that most people never hear about. I must say that a lot of the mixes coming out over the last few years have been a little ,shall we say, lackluster. This is not the case with Era of Diversion. This is a total gem! I've been hearing music from Evol Intent for a while, but this is truly a transcendent piece of work. The high points for me are the pieces that feature MC Messinian. I have seen him several times live over the years and love what he does, but his tracks in this mix are absolutely top notch (The Foreword, & Death, Lies and Videotape). He has singlehandedly revitalized my interest in hip hop. Unfortunately there is nothing else out there on his level. So I would like to hear more from him. That being said, the entire piece of work taken together is fantastic! It's like a rollercoaster, the driving tracks propel you from one style to another, each one sonically challenging in a different way. I noticed this mix a year and a half late, what a shame. Better late than never! Much praise to the Evol Intent boys,

This album is blowing me away. So many lyrical styles laid on top of drum-and-bass roots. I'm a huge Aphex Twin fan, and I think Evol Intent has taken the mantle from Richard D. James. Definitely get the whole album. I like this one enough I'm actually emailing my friends to suggest it to them.

Positive and negative G's slamming your ears to all sides of the spectrum. For those with a very diverse taste in music this is one punch packed treat to send you to pleasure town. My brain had multiple O's.
