if you are familar with Dio era Black Sabbath, you must own this live cd. the sound is 100% better then Live evil. and without the crowd noise cheering, it wouldnt sound like a concert. if you want an idea of what Dio era Black Sabbath really sounded like without the studio polish, this cd is a great example..
it has alot of songs that Dio era sabbath fans expect to hear, like "Heaven and hell and mob rules. Dios singing has indeed changed,he was no longer in his prime here, but sang better then most hard rock singers at 60. tony iommi is flawless on guitar, hes one of the fiew guitarists i can listen for hours. geezer butler is in top form, as well as bonham style drummer vinny appice.
if you want a very enjoyable hard rock live cd from Dio era sabbath, GET THIS! you wont regret it,
Iommi the best

The mob rules has always been my favorite vocal from Dio. Also Tony Iommi's awesome guitar playing off of this song is just the greatest and most classic metal thing i have ever heard.
THE GREATEST VOICE IN METAL EVER!!

I like the first two Dio/Sabbath albums (I've never heard anything off of Dehumanizer). I've always liked Dio's voice. But he doesn't sound like Dio anymore. Not his fault. Singing voices deteriorate with age and with wear and tear. So when I read reviews that say Dio sounds better than ever I really have to question what people are hearing. Stick with the studio recordings if you want to hear Dio at his full power.
Awesome

I saw Heaven and Hell at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO on 8/15/09. They were amazing. I got this album to relive the awesome time I had. The only difference is some songs were added and some were taken away because of the release of their new album. But this concert and the concert I saw were amazing. Buy this now! Dio is God!
