David Usher consistently puts out great music. This is the first CD I own by him, but I've grown familiar with his music through Pandora and I only wish that more of his albums were available on iTunes.

David has a truly amazing voice and is an all around gifted musician. I've been a dedicated fan since his Moist days. This entire album is mesmerizing and worth every penny. Music does not come much better than this.

Right after Little Songs... which should really be on itunes in the US (hint, hint), along with all his other stuff (hint, hint). Wonderful. Incredible. Everyone buy this album so that we'll continue seeing dave's new music on american itunes!

David Usher is one of the most talented and unique artists out there. I haven't been a fan for that long--I discovered him just after his debut on youtube, as one of his first 5 subscribers. Now he has a huge following on the net... perhaps that's why I'm so suprised that he's been neglected on Itunes. Definitely an artist I'd regret missing. His songs "The Music" and "Love Will Save the Day" (which has not yet made it onto Itunes) are among my favorites. He started with the hit single, "Black Black Heart" and has grown dramatically since then.
  • Strange Birds is a must listen!

I've been a David Usher fan since his Moist days. His debut solo album, Little Songs, still ranks among my favorite CDs. I've loved following the evolution of his musical style and sound through his solo career. He has grown leaps and bounds as an artist over the years. His unique voice, beautiful/sometimes dark melodies, and honest lyrics combine to make Strange Birds a must listen. There's not a bad song on the album. It's not very often I can say that. I encourage everyone to give this one a try. You won't be disappointed!

White Flag and The Music are great; but DONT miss the FIRST album, especially Jesus is My Girl, and Trickster....really fine indie sound.

For the longest time iTunes would not allow me to download this b/c it was in the Canadian store. I've never had that happen. It was such a tease. I think David is so amazing and played the crap outta his previous album so I was definitely looking forward to more new tunes. He's fantastic and I'm a fan from back in the days with MOIST.

My first D.U. album was Little Songs [to #@$* to], and to this day it has remained my favorite! Sweet yet powerful vocals, a unique chill out vibe, incredible musical ability and talent- all of his albums not only saitisfy your listening hunger, but also sooth the soul. Seeing David live in NYC was a most pleasurable experience- he truly captivates his audience and delivers even more than one would expect from hearing his albums alone. Brilliant! xo
