Did she copy? Benson does it way better. I’m not being a hater, but the bop is kinda all over the place. I don’t even know what she’s talking about.😕

  • A contractual obligation, and not close to her best work.

Keeping it real, and as a fan of music AND Mariah, this album is lazy. Mariah makes no attempt to dazzle fans with the vocal range, agility and power that made her famous. The vocals sound largely disinterested and lack any intentionality behind what is being sung. It’s already a smaller body of work at 11 tracks, an lad the best singing on it comes from the Clark sisters. The production quality of the album is great! Shout out to the band and any background vocalists on there, but everybody deserves better. Mariah is capable of much more and this sounds like an album she made because she contractually had to and not because she wanted to. Hate that for her because she is a phenomenal vocalist when she tries.

All the positive reviews were written two months before this even dropped, kinda like that Clipse album, I think that says it all about the quality of this thing. Mariah's sound is tired and she obviously can't sing anymore, as demonstrated by her live performances, and we've all moved on.

After looping Jesus I Do & Here For It All over and over again and singing and praying and dancing it out, I fell in love with Nothing Is Impossible and My Love. Now I just can’t stop groovin’ and poppin’ and singing along. Positively inspiring every aspect of my life! Yes, I do want to enjoy these tracks, love, sweetness, song, prayer, purpose, and prayer Jesus. Hallelujah!
  • It’s old school soul. I’m here for it all

It’s not the rhythmic tapestry of Caution but it feels progressive while harkening back to 70’s Foundational Black American soul music mixed with the fervor of hip hop. This is quiet storm personified music.
