Just buying the album doesn’t do it justice: have to see it on Apple TV+ it feels like a perfect blend of old and new and the visuals are absolutely stunning and the dual whistle tone harmony on oh Santa made music history. Wonderful

A lot can be said about Mariah Carey herself, she’s been in the game for 30 years at this point, and she still finds ways to reinvent her own classics and hits. She does a great job on this soundtrack, and all of the vocals for the songs are new. It’s really nice to hear her switch up parts, and her tone is smooth. It’s also lovely, effervescent, jubilant, and 100% necessary to watch to bring some joy this year. Highly recommend, the songs are a bit cheerer than what you think.
