Love the first 2 singles and excited to hear the rest of the album. IMO ‘The Altar’ is still her best work, but unlike some fans, I enjoyed III and Serpentina almost as much. I’ve never understood why some people think a recording artist is supposed to sound the same on every album. I know many will disagree but, for me, Goddess is my least favorite. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great album, but I listen to The Altar and III more, as they each have more songs that I like. Most of my top 10 songs of hers would be from those 2 albums. Regardless,she is and has been my favorite female recording artist for the last 10 years, and February can’t come fast enough!
