BANKS don’t ever disappoint!

She does it yet again. Everything this woman touches is pure perfection.

Love every single Banks release! Have not loved some of the autotune choices on this album and the last…but still phenomenal. Anything for you is fire!

Just beyond proud of her! Started listening a few years ago after hearing her song on a tv show. Since then I’ve been listening to all the albums and following her social media. Her lyrics and use of imagery are beyond brilliant.

I saw Serpentina as a brillant exploration into the dark and finding light and moving on. Banks gave us everything on this album, powerful anthems like “the devil”, love not working out “deadend” and moving ballads like “I still love you” which is seriously one of the most powerful song titles I know of right now. It’s a blow to the heart. I related to this album so much. Thank you Banks and thank for sharing your wonderful art and life with us and giving listeners the power to also tackle their own demons. 🐍

I have been following Banks since her debut. This is her 4th album. And her lyrics still hit. Her tone is unmatched. This album tells a beautiful story. She is truly a song writer. Happy Serpentina!

This comes from someone who loves, and still listens to, Banks’s past albums (each a finely crafted masterpiece to the ear-with the exception of this one, of course). So, I was certainly hyped up for Serpentina; especially with the singles The Devil and Skinnydipped, which both had me expecting for something ‘more’ from her. However, I suppose every artist is allowed a flop or two in their career.

Seeing Banks grow as an artist over the years, you can tell she put her whole heart and soul into this album. Just amazing.
