To the Limit: The Essential Collection

They are going to release an essentials collection that is 3 albums/discs long and they don’t include ‘The Sad Cafe?’ Please. Those of you giving this collection 5 stars are clearly newbies.

But not half as many as KISS.

Great collection by one of the greatest groups ever PERIOD!!!!!!

But haven’t we heard all this before? I am a huge Eagles fan but can’t justify a reason to spend all this money for no new music. I guess if you haven’t really listened to the Eagles and decided to be a fan after one of their concerts, this is for you. Especially, since you probably just paid $500 for a concert ticket!

Why release this? Absolutely no reason to buy this

These are labeled "Remastered", but they were done in 2013 which many may already have. The past remasters have not been very good, so even here you aren't getting the quality a 3rd or 4th hits collection should have in 2024. The voices and instruments are still ill-defined and "all mushed together" sounding. If the problem is the original tapes, then stop selling remasters. If it's just laziness on the part of the producers/masterers then, again, stop. It is possible to remaster albums from that era into awesome sounding music, I've heard it done.

Great value for the price and a wonderful collection of live performances.

This is one of the best collections of music to be released by one of the best music bands of all time in my opinion and one of my top 5 favorites of all time. This album contains some songs that I did not know Eagles had recorded into their catalog of music. Very well done.

How do you leave off one of The Long Run's highlights "Those Shoes"?

All of the Eagles best, both studio and live in concert. To all the idiots whinning about another "greatest hits CD", if you don't like it DON'T BUY IT!
