I'm a secular person, but when I listen to Album Leaf, it actually makes me feel something, perhaps something that I have managed to lose somewhere along the way. I also listen to Lights Out Asia & All India Radio, and they're great, but there's just something about how these guys put it all together, every time that seems, well, more meaningful, at least to me. Do your inner guide, soul or whatever you choose to call that special place where you truly feel at peace with yourself and with those around you a favor, and listen to this, or for that matter, anything these guys have done.....

I don't know, I just really wasn't feeling this. I'm not a really huge fan of the alternative/ambient/postrock genre, but I was recommended this as the best album of, well, The Album Leaf and I really didn't like it that much. I have heard really good alternative/ambient/postrock songs that I like, so don't say I'm just not a fan of the genre itself (I wouldn't call myself a hardcore fan though). The songs felt a little dry after a few and Jimmy's voice doesn't add much for me. Once again, my opinion, take it or leave it.

I listen to music when I fall asleep, except I don't listening to sounds and rhythms instead of singing.
I've been struggling with some things and cannot sleep well. I've found this album and my prayers are answered.
This album seems to have been made with my soul as it's only inspiration. I hope everyone can experience this album.

There's something sad but sweet about this album. If you listen to this on long drives home from somewhere far away, it leaves you reveling in the solitude but craving someone to hold hands with. It truly is a thing of beauty, this - I will certainly be purchasing more of their work. Bravo, Album Leaf.

Heard them with Sea Wolf, went for Sea Wolf, left loving their sound. Beautifully composed, honestly the best album to listen to If you've got a 45 min drive in front of you.
