Reviews

  • A true classic!

It's too bad there weren't more albums by this duo. DJ Zero kills it on this LP! The many single CD's spun off this LP give you nearly another hour of staight up mastery! This has and will continue to stand up as and fantastic album that just didn't get the promotion it deserved. Much like MC 900ft. Jesus - selling many less albums than his talent should have.
  • Excellent time warp

Maybe I think this record is good because it brings me back to high school. I got this tape with most of this album on one side and the first NIN album of the other, I listened to that tape until it was too warped to listen anymore. If you never heard this before, it might not be your bag, but if you grew up in the 90's this might bring you back. Enjoy!
  • I think you had to live through the time period...

to appreciate this...hip-hop and so called industrial fused together. It makes sense, both hip-hop and industrial spawned from the same genre, Electro, so they are practically related. I remember playing this record for fans of hip-hop back in the day and turning on so many people to it.
  • Props to Dallas...

What are the odds? The Reverend Horton Heat AND MC 900 Ft. Jesus. I remember these videos from back in the day when 120 minutes was decent. Kevin Seal and all that. I'm Going Straight To Heaven is their crowning achievement. Absolutely stellar.
  • Buy it now monkey

have no idea how I found 'these' guys and have everything 'he' did. Saw 'them' early on and still love it all... Mark is very talented; his music is entertaining, provoking and just damn great.
  • A great find

At first glance this is one of the those thousands of cd's that jsut sit on the shelf of music stores. That's completely the opposite of what this acually is. It's a great cd worthy to be heard. I strongyly reccomend it.
  • In a category by itself...

This is truly an album that started more and has received less than any other of its genre of the 1990's. If you are looking for something so familiar - but never heard - this is where it all started. I still (even after 16 years) pull this out at least once a month. Sure "Truth is out of style" is the one most heard in the clubs, but "I'm going straight to heaven" and "Spaceman" are brilliant. You just won't believe this was cut in 1989. MC 900 - please come back.
