Looking back now I'm glad I supported music just like this. I saw MC 900 FT JESUS live in NYC at Limelight. The show was good and track 2,3,4, on this cd are brilliant. I think Eminem might of got some ideas from music like this. MC 900FT Jesus, pwei,Meat Beat Manifesto, Utah Saints, Shamen, all cds I was enjoying back then. This music always maintained underground status. Andre

I'd like to share that this album changed my life and my appreciation for music in general, its unique sound and tone stickiness kept these tracks in my mind for over ten years, I can think of less than 10 albums that have done that, especially Killer Inside Me, listen to the whole thing.
  • STILLS HOLDS UP AFTER YEARS!!

I have been acquainted personally with Mark Griffin and his music off and on for several years (since the early 1980’s). He dated a friend of mine and we ran in the same art crowds. Mark is a very soft spoken and reserved person with interesting insights, typical of darker talents. I want him to come back and top this album. I had lost contact with Mark over the years but we ran into each other last year (2007). Although he had steered away from music during this time I think he still has that same drive that could bring us another piece of his art. This album still holds up and the influences he had given us are still being used to this day.

It's not whiny and silly - but that main review sure is. Killer Inside Me is one of the best tracks on here. Along with The City Sleeps. Fantastic album, I haven't stopped listening to it since I aquired it about 15 years ago. It's worth every penny.

Two really great Techno Pop songs written before everyone else started doing it. Classics.
  • Nothing else like it.

This ablum works well as a cohesive unit with there being no weak tracks. Pick it up, you won't regret it. Follow through the whole album and let each track unfold one after the other and you'll notice that aurally and thematically they wash over you and shake you up and make you laugh each in turn. The City Sleeps is a bizarre masterpiece that is a fine halucinogen all on its own. Killer Inside Me is an awesome and funny track. This is the imagination that was an obvious seed to many later trip hop works.
