An album of beautifully written song and great arrangements. Hunter Hayes really finds his voice and dives deeper into what he can do.

I bought the single “Dear God” a few years ago and I just remember thinking how different the vibe was from earlier releases — and I loved it. Don’t get me wrong, I still love the super happy-go-lucky vibe of HH’s first record but there is a raw authenticity to Wild Blue, Pt. 1. The moderate to fast songs are excellent, the slower ones are just as good. My absolute favorites in no particular order: Heartbreak Dear God One Shot My Song Too Wild Blue Madness On second thought, there isn’t a song on this record that I don’t love. They’re all amazing and I don’t say that very often. I listen to the entire thing, in album order, on repeat, and I don’t skip any. Thank you, Hunter Hayes!

I love this album because it's so full of heart and emotion. It's something I've always enjoyed about Hunter Haye's music, but especially this album. This album addresses loss in a very real and often bittersweet way. The other thing that I really love is how respectful it is towards the person that was lost, especially in "Loving you".
