Let me just start by something: I DO NOT think Drake is better than Kendrick. I love Kendrick’s albums more than this, the only Drake album I’ve listened to.
That being said, I think it’s unfair to compare the two, as they are two completely different artists. Drake is a singer who occasionally raps in his songs. Kendrick is a pure rapper although he has been attempting to sing more.
This album is great. It’s very catchy, decent lyrics, and Drake’s voice clashes well with the beat. The features on this album are also good. Personal favorite song is either “Own It” or “From Time”.
To close, although he is worse than Kendrick to me, I really enjoy this album and I’m perfectly fine co-existing as a Drake and Kendrick fan.

.This ain't rapping, it's talking to a beat.. Real hip hop fans know the difference. Big L, Rakim, Lupe, Big Daddy Kane, even J Cole, that's rapping, this is talking to a beat. Besides that, his voice is hard to take, especially so much at once, how someone listens to this guy on the regular is beyond me, and let alone listening to him for 7 minutes at a time.

so im not the biggest Drake fan ngl he’s alr but 2 songs I heard sound literally the exact same, I’m not trying to be a hater maybe i was just tired- he do have great songs though I’ll give him that, I would never spend money on this but it’s still good ifykyk stay blessed yall
