Dear Aubrey, I apologize, you were and are great artist, and as A Black Woman I am deeply grateful that your art came around. I took some time for deep meditation and came to realize, you are a Black Man and you are also a White man, my mother back in the 50’s was hurt by both racial sides because of her skin color, she loved both sides of her and shouldn’t have been treated horribly because of the light skin she has. I am so sorry you have endured this pain. I sound white, according to most African Americans, which is farther from the truth than I can express. But, because of this ridicule I cannot form bonds with real African American and have honestly more white friends, which makes me lonely and unacceptable to pretty much every race, especially the black race! I’ll never be black enough even with black skin. I honestly can say, I know and feel exactly how you feel and it’s hard to explain. Kendrick Lamar is a great artist, you are a great artist. I really feel he was trying to help but got hurt by stuff and this turned into something completely different and saddening today. You two can both make great music together for years to come. I know that and I feel that in my soul. I’m rooting for you both because I feel something is so special between you both. Live and Peace and if you two don’t want to come together, it’s okay, music as an art would not be the same without y’all. Love and much respect from a pre-50 year old woman in Texas.
