    This release is for the folks who saw the show and are nostalgic. If you are rating purely on music quality then it is a 2 star venture. I was excited to hear it-thinking it was going to be an intimate great sounding production. It had a few entertaining stories and no entertaining music. Not one track made my Boss playlist from this. At least he could check off Broadway on his bucketlist. But musically it will be played rarely.

    I see some one-star reviews here, and I can only conclude that these are people who simply don’t like Springsteen. Go rate a Taylor Swift album; why come here? This show was absolutely beautiful; too beautiful, in fact, to become the subject of evaluation by those who have no ears and no heart.

    I didn’t get to see the show live, but saw the NetFlix film and listened to the book. Loved it and the stories, even though most are pulled from the book. This is a wonderful recording and would give this five stars...the three stars are because I’d love a music-only version of this. I can’t imagine sitting and listening to the full album over and over. It’s not cool that a couple of the songs are album-only.

    Very different if you are used to his live performance with The E Street and not for everyone. I read his book and saw this performance live and so to me it was great. His songs are great with E Street and in acoustic with just Bruce. Must have if you are a diehard Bruce fan. RP
