The lush sounds on this album are amazing. It feels like wraping yourself in a warm blanket, the sound just envelops and soothes the soul. I have always loved the "shoe-gaze" sounds of the 90's, but somehow I missed Slowdive. As soon as I heard Star Roving I knew I had to buy this album. Whether you are a shoe-gaze, new-gaze fan or not, listening to the album feels like having a drink with a long lost friend. Amazing.
