I feel like they’re making fun of us, the consumer, by making this album knowing fans will buy it. Freakin terrible

I have played many songs to death, but no matter how long i listen to this album, it never gets old. The songs are so soothing, and the vocals are just as you’d expect from a band like alt-j. Fantastic work.

I love a band that continues to mature & evolve. I have enjoyed Alt-J as each cd is released. Each is a piece to the puzzle. Embrass this wonderful new piece.

Truly original and creative!

I absolutely adore Alt-J's other two albums. This one doesn't reach their beauty, although it comes close. It just doesn't resonate with me the way An Awesome Wave and This is All Yours does - it's a bit rawer and harder. There's a qualiy missing from it that is present in the other two albums, and that quality is what makes me love Alt-J. I know I'm not making too much sense, but I don't know the words to describe the feeling.

Alt-J, you've tried too hard. This doesn't feel natural. Take your time boys.

Impressive album!

This was not what I was expecting. It's like an experiment gone wrong. "In cold blood" is the only song that stands out as being 'good'. At least I didn't pay for it full price. Too slow and not really interesting. I don't know what they were thinking.

My wife and I are HUGE fans of their first two albums and listen to them multiple times a week in their entirety around the house as part an always-on master playlist type of thing. Thse two albums are unique and special in an amazing way. As soon as this album came out we couldn't wait to add it to the playlist. We try and try to like this album, but it's like it's from a totally different band.I get progressing and trying something new, but this is a total departure from anything good. It's like they got some money from the label to do more, and lost their creative edge. Or they're just trying too hard now. Very sad.
