I know this isn't for everyone, but it's definitly worth your time to hear what hip-hop beats should sound like.

this album was great. the songs flow together and they form a work of art as a whole. it may not seem this way when listening to individual tracks. madlib uses samples and many other clips to make a point.

my body's reaction when i heard this cd, was goosebumps and tears of admiration. Madlib has grew on me so much, that he has become my favorite hip hop producer. His beats bring me visions of when i was growing up observing the essence of hip hop culture through raw rhymes and creative beats through innovative use of sample manipulation and live instrumentation. this c.d is a good example of what i'm talking about

a very good album, but you'd be foolish to buy it here - at the time of this review, it's available at amazon with no DRM at 256kpbs for $3 less.

one of the best releases of 2005, hands DOWN. every track is listenable by itself, but you really feel the magic when you listen to the entire thing in one listen. pure genius by the Loop Digga.
go pick up Beat Konducta Vol. 3 as well! hopefully, it's on itunes now...
on of the best
