Indigo Blue

For those who are only familiar with Free's excellent work with Kidney Thieves, you really owe it to yourself to peruse her solo albums. Inidgo Blue is a solid, smart sonic assault that soothes, entertains and deserves a play through from start to finish. I sometimes get a Prince vibe from some of her songs, both in the way they are written and the way they evoke feelings and imagery.

The loveliest voice and lyrics just fill your heart with such a feeling of love and peace. I've loved her in Kidneythieves and her solo work is just as amazing. Simply an amazing artist and person!

Inspired lyrics that tell a story, and powerful music that catches your attention. This album, like everything she does, is incredible. Free is blessed with an amazing natural talent, but she also puts the hard work and dedication into her music. It's worth every ounce she gives, and it's worth your time to experience it.

This album is exactly what i needed. All paths in life will become clear only if you let them. A well layered, spacious, electronic sound scape. Free’s vocals complement the musicality flawlessly. Stand out tracks such as “Weightless” I could only describe it as the breath of my soul. The stand out tracks include the albums title track, “Mr. Goodnight”, “Map and a Light” and “Golden wings”.

The album is a velvety smooth listening experience. The songs all flow together with Free's talented voice weaving a magical thread throughout. I was introduced to her singing via KidneyThieves, and this album shows just how capable she is in multiple styles.

The great thing about Free is that she keeps putting music out there, which is good news. It’s great to listen to! No one sounds like her, she’s truly a unique artist.

Excellent album!! Free was great with Kidney Thieves and has proven how great she is doing her solo work! She is a wonderful Artist who actually can sing and make music without someone having to "make" her sound good! I recommend all of her albums and if you can sponsor via Kickstarter that would be even better since she is an independent artist!!

Fans know her as the voice of industrial rock band Kidneythieves, but this album reveals an unsuspected pop side to her vocal an songwriting talents. Mesmerizing vocals, richly layered backgrounds, easily the best album by any vocalist this year. Haven't been able to stop listening to this!
