I remember hearing this in my brother’s car in a 8 track and loving it then . MAGICAL album with great musical fun. It is AWESOME.

I love this song

I had a Doobies “best of CD”. Great listening but I gave it away. I appreciate Micheal McDonald’s talent but not how the Doobies sounded when he came aboard. So I got what I consider their best work The Captain and Me. It’s like a “best of “ minus some key songs from other albums. The highlights for me are Pure As the Driven Snow and South City Midnight Lady, two songs that you get lost in they’re so good. Without You is crazy good, like the Doobies meet the Rasberries. And the final two songs make you think of their future hit Blackwater.

I have been listening to music daily/hourly since the early sixties. The Captain and Me is my favorite of all time. Dark Eyed Cajun Woman is incredible. Thanks Doobies!

One of the BEST albums ever, brings back a lot of good memories

I was a senior in HS. And at Easter about 10 of us went to North Carolina and stayed in a friends cabin. It was fun!
