Kaimu is just an amazing song that many people can relate to. Living Dolls also is one of my many favorites. Reflection is all in English which is awesome. Just love One Ok Rock and their music.
  • ONE OK ROCK in full form. In other words, amazing!

The band's first album "Zeitakubyou" raised expectations (considerably). But their second effort "Beam of Light" lowered them (somewhat). Smart move. Because "Kanjou Effect" demanded attention as it tore down all walls surrounding any doubt people had about the band's potential. They broke apart (and rebuilt) everything you thought you already knew about the band, and proved their was no limit to their energy and creativity. It's the album that OOR fans craved for and knew was on the horizon, but didn't know when it'd happen. Well, it came and fortunately it stayed. Unfortunately, it was Alex's last album with the band… But at least he left with a bang, because "Kanjou Effect" was a breath of fresh air of high octane adrenaline, fusing punk and hard rock together with heart, soul, and emotion. OOR's sound also began to blend the sounds of western rock (predominantly American) and Japanese rock almost seamlessly. They finally found their voice, and weren't gonna let go. Standout tracks: Koi no Aibou Kokoro no Cupido, Kaimu, 20 Years Old, Sonzai Shoumei, Reflection, Viva Violent Fellow (Utsukushiki Mosh Pit), Just. If you're new to ONE OK ROCK, this a great place to start. But as amazing as this album is, the best was yet to come… hint: "Niche Syndrome".
