The originals were great, and these versions should be also in the music library of anyone who enjoyed them ... or anyone who appreciates good story-telling Americana music. This disc (as well as Volume 2) is highly and enthusiastically recommended. Buy them both - you will not be disappointed!

    Great music that is pure and simple. Dan Seals' voice and the simple acoustic guitar music is a wonderful blend. No, it's not music that you would hear on country radio today, but that's the point. If you just want to chill out with some great songs, this is a great album to get for your collection. If you just get a song or two, get "They Rage On", "I'd love to See You Tonight", and "Everything That Glitters".
