    Dont waste your money like I did! fortunately i didnt purchase the whole thing, just some alternate mixes and the live stuff and it all sounds horrible!!!!! cmon Gene, this is it? what a rip off. ive lost alot of respect for kiss now, after being a huge fan for most of my life. cant believe you would jew your fans like that

    I'm so happy I did not buy the $200 CD copy of this release. Like other reviewers have stated, the mix is complete garbage. My original album sounds much better. And the live versions from Paris in '76 sound like they were literally recorded by a fan in the crowd with a tape recorder in his hand. They are sooo bad. Like many of you I am in my mid-fifties and have been a KISS fan my whole life but I am so tired of waiting for them to release remastered versions of their back catalog, complete with demos, outtakes, unlreleased tracks, etc. that I am moving on. I should have done this much sooner.

    Lots of interesting things on this for a kiss fan. Not sure it is worth the 30 bucks. Took off a star because Gene had to make it very clear in the notes that Peter had nothing to do with the writing of Beth. Wish he would stop being petty.

    The mix is horrible on this! The mastering is flat! No dynamics at all! Great album just not this version! The extras are great though!
