This duet is absolutely EXQUISITE! I saw this during a TV program and had to find it for purchase. Though the vocal lines (both lead and harmony) are really complicated and difficult, Underwood and Legend make it look (and sound) effortless and easy. The pitch is perfection throughout, a perfect weave between lead and harmony, and the tone so very amazing... it's almost other-worldly. The accompanying instrument(s) support the vocals like bouyant water and the lyric message is also beautifully crafted and timely; definitely a new holiday classic! Exceptional MUSIC is what I look for from artists like these and both Carrie Underwood and John Legend did NOT disappoint. The world is a better place for the ripples generated from this collaboration and song. Now, as to politics or opinion? That's not what I look for or expect to find in music or musicians, so it has no impact on whether or not I can appreciate the art that is their music. In fact, in this instance, I don't know what politics the other reviewer(s) were referencing and don't care. I find it annoying that any reviewer would base their review of a piece of music on unrelated personality issues, not the music itself. That degrades a review from true objective analysis of the music to a mere popularity contest vote, unworthy of a reader's time. Reviewing is a responsibility; we need to do better as reviewers.

One of the most beautiful duets I have ever heard!!! Their wonderful performance literally gave me chills, purchase the video and played it 5 times in a row!!! Thank you both for one of my most favorite Christmas songs going forward!!

Sorry pretty song love Carrie Underwood, but can’t make me buy because of his political theatrical views. Really don’t believe anyone should voice to much who is not a politician that need to state their views to minors or really anyone else. I really just want to hear music, keep it to their friends and family. The music and actors over the last 10 years have lost me as a fan. It’s really to bad.
