Jason & Amanda, the power couple, that gorgeously complement each other with these two tracks on "Sea Songs." Since hearing "I Follow Rivers" for the first time, I can't get the song out of my heads. A brilliantly written song by Lykke Li that's brought a new, deep, chilling dynamic through this cover. Warren Zevon's "Mutineer" is a warm and comforting. This cover emotes love and serenity and peace. You can hear the deep love that Jason & Amanda share for each other. Pure art.

I've been a huge fan is Jason since the DBT days, but thought his solo work was his best. I love the vocals on these duets though and hope they continue to sing together. It's just as magical and haunting as Ryan Adams/Emmylou from Heartbreaker, which is as high of a compliment that could be made. They also both kill it on podcasts and interviews, check out him on Maron and both of them on Wits and WNYC's Death, Sex + Money. Hearing her talking about just wanting to get to the place where they could get wood floors endeared my wife forever and killed any sense of them being unrelatable rockstars.

This "I Follow Rivers" cover is really fascinating. I like the original version, but this is a total spin in a good, good way. "Mutineers" is a perfect tune with these 2 together. More please.
