Should be a buy for Alchemist fans. Seems people love his work for different reasons. I loved Alchemist 1st and most, still. If anyone read anything Savant had to say about this album I think he crushed it! Got back to his best!

Every one of the songs is great, but the first half of Broken is amazing, Savant should do more of the sinister orchestral songs

This is one of Savant's best, and I hope there's more to come like this! Personal favs: Basement, Orphan, Return and Colorblind

It didn't have the same feel as all the the other albums. I don't know why, but whenever a track from this album comes up, I always have the urge to hit the skip button. Call me crazy, but that's just my opinion. Change is good, but I happened to dislike this particular change. I'll for sure pick up his next album, and I hope I can enjoy it like I have all his other previous works. I also hope he composes more songs with Quentalis, the songs with him have always turned out pretty cool. But then again, this is all just my opinion.

I love this album! The rhythm of Orphan and Invasion leave me crawling back for more, as the randomness of Pizza Power Alien fascinates me. I've fallen in love with the swing-like style of Innocence, and Change has a fitting name. And don't even get me started on Basement!!!!!!

While Invasion is nowhere near the epic concept album that Zion was, it still is a staggeringly impressive album. As per usual with Savant, there are absolutely no filler tracks; every song has a purpose and meaning. Whether Savant is trying to make you feel something with tracks like Return, make you dance with tracks like Colorblind, or make your brain dance with tracks like Problemathematicalculatorture, every track hits its mark. There truly is something on here for everyone. My only gripe with this album is that a few tracks (specifically Return and 1997) differ greatly from their Soundcloud counterparts; I wouldn't have a problem with this if Return, my former favorite track on the album, hadn't been changed so greatly that it no longer feels like the emotional serenade it once was. It's still good, but I wish it hadn't been changed so much. Favorite tracks: Upgrade, Colorblind, Massacre, Dreamscape (Oh, and by the way: don't buy this album on iTunes. If you go to his Bandcamp page it's available on a pay-what-you-want basis, and if you decide to pay money for it, more of the money will go to him instead of iTunes taking a chunk of the profit. Support this talented artist!)
